South Park is a neighborhood of south central Charlotte about six miles from Uptown. Centered at the intersection of Fairview Road and Sharon Road, this high quality neighborhood was once part of a 3,000 acre farm owned by former North Carolina Governor Cameron Morrison. The farm’s main house, the Morrocroft Mansion is a 14,000 square foot Tudor Revival house built between 1924 and 1927. Today South Park includes a large high quality residential area and also an upscale business district, the second largest in North Carolina.

South Park is the home of the South Park Mall, known as Charlotte’s most upscale shopping center. The area also has many other fine shopping and dining options.
