General Overview: 
Mint Hill was first settled in 1750 and is primarily a residential community. It has enjoyed steady growth and currently has approximately 20,000 residents.
Special Features: Mint Hill offers the Pine Lake Country Club, the Mint Hill Festival Center, the Mint Hill Branch of the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. Locations of interest also include several shopping areas.
Schools:
Mint Hill is served by the very fine Charlotte Mecklenburg school system. The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is 10 miles away. Central Piedmont Community College is about 12 miles away. Mint Hill is also home to the Queens Grant Charter School.
Employment and Business:
The business district has shown intensified development in recent years with over 285 businesses and professional services available. The extensive business and employment resources of Charlotte are also conveniently close by.

Wilgrove Park features a lighted softball field, tennis courts, a walking trail, picnic areas and a large variety of playground equipment. The Mint Hill Athletic Association offers participation in recreational sports leagues. |
