The Point at Lake Norman
General Overview: 
The Point is a luxurious lakefront Nantucket-style village on the north shore of Lake Norman.
Special Features:
The Point Lake and Golf Club has an 18 hole golf course designed by Greg Norman. There is dining and shopping at the General Store. It also features a Family Activity Center with six tennis courts, three swimming pools, exercise equipment, aerobics classes, a teen room, Movie Theater, kid’s corner and a full time activities director.
Schools:
The Point is served by the award winning Iredell-Statesville school system which includes Woodland Heights Elementary School, Brawley Middle School and Lake Norman High School. A wide variety of private schools in the Charlotte area are also available to The Point’s children.
Employment and Business:
The Point is only 30 miles from all the employment and business opportunities of the Charlotte area. The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce actively promotes the economic well being of the area.

Recreation:
Lake Norman specializes in water recreation including water skiing, sailing, canoeing, and swimming. If you love fishing, you’ll find a variety of blue catfish, carp, largemouth bass, perch, rainbow trout and more. There are many private and community docks, as well as the new Lake Club. The Lake Norman State Park provides lakeside trails, a 33 acre lake and areas for camping, picnicking and swimming. |
